Guides for the work of hiring.
Hiring in the Philippines, writing a job offer, onboarding checklists and the record that follows.
Resources.
The legal minimum for a job offer
Draft the offer from the requisition. Check gross salary against the pay grade before it goes to the candidate.
The accepted offer generates the contract from your template. Hire is recorded when the contract is executed, not before.
This guide is under legal review. Contact us for guidance on your particular offer.
Onboarding checklist
Pre-start tasks begin at acceptance so IT and payroll are ready on day one.
Generate the contract from the approved offer, collect e-signatures in order, and start the onboarding checklist the moment it is signed.
Offboarding and final pay
At separation the checklist runs in reverse, the person is disconnected, and their statutory records are sealed to their profile.
The certificate of employment, final pay statement, BIR 2316, payslips, compensation history and signed documents are always included.
Legal requirements and final pay guidance are under review.
How to write a requisition a manager will approve
A manager requests a seat. Their own manager approves or declines.
The approved seat becomes a requisition with the pay grade attached.
Replacements for an existing seat skip approval unless the role, grade or employment type changes.
